Best and easiest way to get 16v to amps daily?

What is the best and easiest way to get get 16v to your amps in a daily driver? Do you need a seperate regulator for your alternator? What about the MLA Module, anyone ever used it and how well does it work?

First, why do you want to run 16V daily?

It can be useful in a comp vehicle. Completely unnecessary for daily use.

the easiest way i know of would be to install the XS VCM and replace all batteries in the car with XS 14v AGMs.

It is kinda expensive but to maintain 16v daily.. it isn't cheap.

Daily means sustained use and 16v sustained use is around the max in car electronics can handle.

I would highly recommend against sending 16V to your vehicles electronics.

well then, i hope the rest of CACO realizes this because when the VCM gets released next week... this is their impressional use.

So technically the safest way to do so would be with a second alternator dedicated to your subwoofer amps and using the VCM, and using your primary alternator for your mid/highs?

Two completely independent systems, do NOT run 16v to the rest of your car.

I don't think that's their impressional use at all.

I think of it as an adjustable MLA, versus having set points like an MLA does.

If people are dumb enough to turn it up to 17 volts then they deserve to blow up their ECM.
