oz audio any good?

Looking at an Oz Audio matrix elite 15 inch subwoofer for $120 pick-up, i will have to drive 2 hours away to pick up. Are these subs any good?

I have a boston acoustics gt28 amp , it does 1100 rms x1 @2 ohms. the oz audio me 15 is rated for 750 rms... Do you think the amp would be too much for that sub? -- Or Should i look at some other subs that would match up better with my amp??

Oh, Oz sub is 4 ohm dvc. So it would be wired down to 2 ohms.

There were plenty of good things being said about those Oz Audio MEs a few years back. I've never heard one, but if the sub is in good shape I'd think 120 is a good price. I think they may have went for 250-300 new?

The ME's are good subs.

That amp is fine, set the gain conservatively if necessary and don't use any bass boost/etc.

As said above the ME's were great sounding and got loud. $120 is a great price as long as it's in good shape.
