Figured I'd try these little connector dealies from part-sex-press. lol

IMG_1782.jpg

Did you know if your hand is bigger than your speaker cutout you have cancer???

Here come the photos I obviously took way too close. Hope you can tell what they are.

First attempt at the 45s. Meh, this is the corner in the port: Towards bottom right of pic is port opening, outer walls of port not on yet.

samsbuildlog040.jpg

Same corner from the other side

This was kinda in the last pic too

My skill saw skillz are less than skillful. Inner port wall meeting 45

samsbuildlog043-1.jpg

Same problem at port mouth. Looks like I tried to cut this baby out with a sawzall or something.

Both problem areas got sanded down, but I don't know if I took pics of that or not. We shall see.

IMG_1780.jpg

Looks like I did take a pic. Inner-port 45 fixed. Grandfathers are a gift from God; I come down to the workshop after school and find this has been done for me because Grandpa was "feelin' like using the rasp." The nerve of the man, doing good deeds for no good reason! I did the nasty caulk fail you see.

IMG_1781.jpg

Other one fixed too. Grandpa really went to town!

IMG_1779.jpg

Completed turn in the port. All taped up and ready for paint, but I have something else to show you first... Don't laugh now...

What the **** is this **** for?

IMG_1778.jpg

Check out my big thick hard rod... ladies. T.U.B. (Totally Unnecessary Brace) FTW!

IMG_1777.jpg

All ready for paint. Black ports make more deeeeeeeebeeeeeeeezzzzzz

IMG_1785.jpg

Tada! Went to town with the rasp and got rid of all the funky inconsistencies, now just mashin' the top on

And thats all she wrote folks! I'm headed home next weekend to see the fam-damily, so I'll try and remember to get a completed shot with the carpet on. In the mean time...

That's one hell of a brace lol.

"They" say size doesn't matter. "They" are lying.

Basically, it was a matter of "when are we actually going to get to use this otherwise?" So I got out the router and, to be quite frank, stuck it in there with some white sticky stuff. Then we screwed. The brace in.

Yeah, me and Stitch are some kind of odd couple I guess you could say. While I don't see intercourse in our future, I do find that she really seems to dislike my human lady friends. She wouldn't even let an ex of mine touch her until we broke up. Go figure; my pup is the only women whose always going to have my back! :drink40:

Gotta love 'em. Then I can always say, "I'm staying home with the lady, ya know? Humina humina!" so I don't look like a complete tool when I decide not to go out. lol

Until I get home this weekend thats it, and even then it'll only be a pic of the final product. Pretty boring, I know, but thats what I get when I wait over 3 months after completion to post the build.

Well here's the deal: busy weekend=no pics of final product. I'm stuck at college about 100 miles from home with no vehicle, so hopefully I can talk my lil sis into taking a few shots of the final product. Stay tuned, or don't, there's probably better things to be watching on the forum. :drink40:

:drink40:

Amp si already spoken for, just gotta pack it up and get the paypal... You want a nice box and 2 dual 4 SA-8s? I'll cut you a good deal... lol I never am home to enjoy them anyway and it seems a shame to leave them sit in my car with no one using them, so I figured I'd sell them to someone here who'd appreciate them. :drink40:
