A customer came in to show me his new speakers, ScanSpeak Illuminators..small format tweeters, 4 inch midrange and 7 inch midbass.

Very cool looking speakers, I hope they perform well

When looking at the motor I noticed it's held on by 3 torx screws, on both the midrange and the midbass...so why not open them up and take some interesting pics ? Plus I always wanted to see the insides of a Scan motor

When installing them I think I could take detailed pics of other parts...

I was surprised to see so much copper inside.
