I bought my plunge on Ebay for $19 3 years ago and it hasn't skipped a beat yet. Best buy IMO.

5 words for ya...

Harbor Freight is your friend.

They usually have very cheap tools. Right now they have a 1HP variable speed plunge router for $39.99.

The quality on the tools are really not that great, but they work. I bought a grinder (made by the same company) for $10 to do my window motors, it has paid for itself x3.

What did you buy?

Harbor freight or Northern Tool and Equipment have "cheap" tools.
