replacement part for head unit????

Recommended Posts

hey yall i got a Kenwood Kdc-Bt945u and im trying to find a replacement part for it. on the face plate where it says kenwood that knob came off and i cant find it. so now it is just hollow there. it still turns and everything but when i have to push it in to select something its kinda of tough to get my finger in there to push it. so im wondering where i could find just the knob or would i have to get a whole new face plate.

heres a pic of it. the inner knob where it says kenwood is gone.

i was checking ebay would it work if i just bought a replacement face plate?

I don't see why not, as long as it's the same model.

There's a seller on Amazon that is similar to PAC and another one call Harris, or something. I used to order trim rings from them all the time for custom installs, but my mind is fading.

I can't thank you enough for sending me to this site. The part fell off my stereo when I took it out of my pocket, and I didn't realize it right away. When I went back to retrieve it, it had been run over by another car. The site was easy to navigate and I had the part in what seemed like seconds. Thanks again!!!
