Sweet. So I take you plan on using FG for the front of the woofer as well? I assume so since you're making speaker rings like that.

kind of, but not quite

the FG will be used to make a cover panel for my rear deck which will cover those rings

all of the visible screw holes bondo-ed up:

sand outside of the boxes

spray boxes with truckbed liner

cut holes in rear deck larger

mount boxes to rear deck

add polyfil

install subs and wire 'em up

replace tweets

nice, dude.

I cut the same sort of hole in my rear deck. It's very tough to make them pretty- it's not like putting a circle jig on a router.

Looking forward to more progress pics.

Pacparts. XT19 knockoff cheap, same way they had the D2904's a while back. Bang for the buck, I really dig mine and they should work out stellar in Tom's car.

I love the subs peeking through, if my M weren't what it is I'd probably go that route albeit perhaps without the enclosure.

they are deadened... i've got about 25 sq feet in each...

well, it might be closer to 20 each now that a lot of the eDead has fallen off
