Get the amp in, install and then see your voltage drop. I ran my 270xp with 3k at idle and it never dropped under 13.5 volts. I had a deka group 34 under the hood and a deka group 31 in the trunk. Don't by overkill when you don't even know if you need it. Darktinman, the two power inputs, just run two power wires from your rear battery positive and fuse both wires. They are just two separate runs to the amp to divide the amp draw through each wire. And you will want to turn on the first click of your lights to make the car keep the voltage up. When you get the alternator in, its not going to be the alternators fault that you don't sit above 14volts all the time. The ECU on the 94-97 accord, that I know of, controls voltage and it will be done as low as 12.5 volts but only when there isn't a lot of load that works the alternator. If you want to get cheaper priced batteries, get deka 9a31 or ngb extreme group 31 batteries. But do as I said first, you don't want to buy 4 batteries and have it sit there and not need it. Plus, that's a hell of a lot of weight combined with your wall. I have played with the level 4 with level 5 coils before too.

x2, if your electrical is shit and your voltage drops enough then that's your problem. Or your gain is set high enough to where you get optimal output from 99% of your songs, but a few songs may have the bass frequencies boosted, so your amp clips the shit like crazy and goes into protect. If this is the case, turn down the volume knob a couple clicks for these songs.

Im not even gonna get on the amps working order bro, that whole issue itself was a scam and dont see how one minute you tell one buyer there not working and need repairs and were sent out for repairs. Then a couple of days later there sold and they didnt need reparis. 2. You told him you filed the claim on this date. You didnt. 3. You say you were too busy to file a claim, bro come on. Your a business man and a sale is mutual binding contract so you are binding to make that purchase happen smoothly even if has problems. Regardless, you should have told me you DIDN'T submit the claim number until the 1st instead of saying you DID submit it on the 22nd. Either way, UPS should be here in a few hours. Will update then.

Nightshade is a great daily driver that has a lot of output capability. Might be hard to get a new driver built as the motors are still being built The IA is a brutal output daily driver with great sq. I have owned the Lethal Injection series and currently run the Death Row series. Just plain impressive imo. Xcon as Denim mentioned is a SQ driver first but has great output and can handle alot of power for a SQ designed sub woofer. I have a 10" DCON and that is quite an impressive little sub woofer. Fi/AA is another great option to look into as they have quite a range of drivers that can meet or excede your expectations. Not a DC fan but that doesn't matter here. All comes down to budget.

I'd go with either the xcon, nightshade, fi bl, or fi btl. Either one you can get the better deal on. Xcon is leaned more towards SQ, but it does get loud. (Personally heard them do work BTL is designed to be a very loud but musical driver. BL is similar to BTLs purpose but on a lower level. (I personally had a bl and loved it) Nightshades are designed to get loud as well but still play music like the btls, everyone on the forums who have'm love'm

You just don't get it do you? The guy has had several questionable past dealings and it still continues today. This is his chance, his time to correct them all. This forum is used to help people in these situations and prevent further issues with other people. Would you not want to know any of these types of issues if you were spending your hard earned money with someone? Would you not want resolution and want it in a timely manner if YOU were the one who got a raw deal?

I agree 100%. Then Kevin can get my amplifier back (the one he sold to the OP), have it repaired and then send me my amplifier that I had purchased on eBay. Then he'd prove he is an ethical business man.

A bad ground problem would have been shown by voltage problems under load. NOT under a higher voltage. Had that happen to me once...measured up the voltage, 12v, turned on the amp, it went into protect and at the terminals there were 5v. Turned out to be a bad ground. Ground problems are not the culprit in this case In case of repairs, small stuff can be overlooked and cause problems later on...

Here's what needs to happen. . . . Kevin, you have a questionable past you can NOT deny. This amp could have been blown before hand, and it could have been blown by the user. It doesn't matter. What you need to do is to eat it. Give the guy his money back and take the amp back. Don't use UPS for a claim. If you need to do that, refund his money first, then get the amp back and deal with UPS on your own accord. Don't make him wait on them. It sucks for you, but this is what you need to do to prove you're an ethical business man.

Nothing to hide, I just don't check these forums during the work day as often as I do at night, so I don't want confusion if I miss a post, etc. Having it out in the public is of no worries.
