seems a lil under powered

am i too assume this is not an SPL setup !?!

im having an 18" built that will take both of my SAZ 3000d amps straped @ ( 6000watts )

wont mention the builder so as not to be acused of Thread Jacking !!! sorry for the WOW but 600 i hope thats a typeO

you're pucking retarded arent you? we know about you and pap. we dont care, bud. its not all about throwing 10kw on a sub.

dude you need to chill out.... LB is a good member who has valued info... i dont think he was disrespecting the op at all... i think you read it with hate in you self.....

and to be honest i think hes under powerin it aswell... nothing wrong with that.. i would just like to see full out put from those subs as im sure LB wanted aswell......

and 10k is alot of current to throw at a sub.. when you do it then you can talk down.... till then try to add somthing to the thread.

as for the picture of him what are you trying to prove that hes older then you are... thats right he is.. why dont you take a page from his book and make your self a better installer or evern car audio fan....

thats it im done.

Yeah that's him. Randy is a great guy, always helpful and loves to demo at shows.

No, I'm not in Maryland.

I did donate to Randy's build and got a duck in return.

Cool Cool :domoslay:

boxx size ?

port freq ?

9 Cubes after displacements.

33hz.

for two18's and you call this a lowend box lol im doing a lil over 9c after displacement tuned to 28hz and its not as good on the lows as id like try larger and tuned to low 20's that would be a lowend monster even on low power. all the movement on put on at the low notes is just waste even mine would like a little lower tuning for the 20hz. its not a bad daily box but no lowend monster.

not going to even get into it with the Hate me thing ???

for me it is about how much Power sub can take but after getting a valid responce from the Org poster it is understandable that he is not competing so 600watts for the set is in his comfort zone :)

was NOT Dissing !!!

where did all that Hate come from ? Wow bro coffee comes in Decaff :slayer:

you forgot to mention my other Sponcors:

SunDown Audio

SoundStream

Metroplex Battery ( Dallas TX )

MLA

Quality Sound ( Garland TX )

Innovative Audio ( Denham Springs LA )

D@mmmmm i look good in Overalls :slayer:

where did you get that cool Pic ???

does Mach 5 Audio make a Monster sub ???

if so i will consider adding it the the BEAST SUB collection

unrelated Pic :

LB is a good member who has valued info...

Regardless of what the other guy said, the whole notion of "underpowering" is a dumb one, LB really didn't have anything to go on for that post :)

Are we supposed to be impressed with this list? Also M5 does make the SPL 12 and 15.

This is the ops first system over a pair of crappy 12s. All that matters is that he is happy.

Pretty good! :D

Thanks Mark.

The roof flex video is at 26hz for the low.

The MJ's seem to love going below box tuning fing05.gif , however my vehicle does not. :o

With limited playtime and a guess at my peak frequency. Here's the results.

SANY0332.jpg

This is after I burped it at 32hz and without the MLA so the batts were pre-drained.

More meter play time in 2 weeks.

Also did a 135 and change at 26hz. :D

nice work man i plan on upgrading my one mj18 to 2 here soon!!!

Thanks.

I don't expect these to get much louder.

Of course when everyone sees 2 18's they think Hairtricks, but fudge them.

I would recommend M5 to anyone as a beginner sub.

I love these things and the lows are wonderful.

Of course this is no longer 600w.

It's closer to 2k and these MJ's are taking it like a champ.

Hardly get smelly and only when playing below box tuning for extended periods of time.

That's pretty good considering they aren't meant for SPL. But yeah, I doubt you will get much more than that from them.
