New guy.

Recommended Posts

I'm the new guy here from the Great Northwest. I'm here to learn what to do and what not to do. I am a big Pioneer Fan, from EXPERIENCE. I used to have the two of the PRS-X720, one of PRS-X320, and one of PRS-X220, two 10's and PRS door speakers. And the unthinkable happen. Everything was stolen on a sunday night. Walk to my car with a broken window, and my hood wide open. They disconnected my batter cables to turn my alarm off and ripped the crap out of my Durango. Well now I'll be building a new system. I live in a group of townhouses where my house is way in the back. The only thing insurance coverd was my dash, door panels, and window. So I get to start all over. :gift:

My deck I have in there now, is starting to act up, the sound peeks cutting in and out. So I'm thinking that the internal Amp in the deck is going out. So i'm thinking of getting a Pioneer DEH-P700BT. I need some advice on how to decide what door speakers to go with a amp. I'm thinking of getting Pioneer TS-D1720C for the front, and for the rear is Pioneer TS-D702P. So what Amp would go with that? Maybe Pioneer GMs-6400F? I would go back to the PRS-X320 but I cant find any.

As for the amp for the sub(s) I want to use PRS-D1200M Powering to of TS-W2502D2. Good choice or bad choice? Or the other way I was going to go is, a Pioneer GM-D8400M with two of Pioneer TS-SW1201S2 . Would you guys give me some advice on these amps and subs and what I need to look for when choosing what amp goes with what sub.

Here is a couple of picture of my durango.

This is what I have for room. I do sometimes use all the space of my Durango.
