NEW SUBS tuff CHOICE

Recommended Posts

SSA all the way!!!!

Having seen both brand on design software...

The SSA's are your best bet if you like to listen

wide variety of music.

The response on SSA subs is superior across the REL board....

If you just want loud with peekish response then try Fi...

x10 on the customer service comment for SSA....

They're one of if not the best in customer service.

im wandering if i made the wrong choice? i just bought an icon this weekend they are pretty good tho arent they?

I just got mine a few months ago..

I LOVE EM' !!!

You would have to pry these from my cold dead hands

to get me to ever switch to another sub company..

And if the Icons are this good.....then the Xcons

would make you wet yourself!

I got mine recently (1 month) and I am VERY HAPPY with it : accurate is the word, YES !!! You can easily listen to jazz, or any kind of music.

But the output is incredible in my ported enclosure !!!!!!!!!!!!! I had to turn the gain down! And just imagine I give it 650 watts (at 4 ohms).

I cannot imagine how would sound an Xcon!!! I may order one for a friend of mine : I will tell you.

You made a great choice : it's a hell of a sub!

The Xcons get stupid loud and are very accurate in doing so.

I know I will get blasted, but the phrase Loud Sound Quality just works. At worst it's a very good compromise of the two.

@ M5, Flame away brother.

I think i'll give Xcon 18" a try cause I hate the way my eD 19ov.2s sound.

In the the meanwhile i need to sell them all along with the b.s. enclosure.

I hate to start all over on the install!!!!

How accurate can an Xcon play 25hz -80hz in a vented box?

hopefully someone who has heard one of the install's that i've done with 18's & 12's will chime in. I think they sound great, nice and flat if tuned around 31hz :)
