how many amps does your alternator have?

my alternator has 110 amps and i have a sundown saz2000d and getting the xcon...yah.. gonna get a beefier bat in the front and a decent size in the rear. how many amps u guys putting out on your alternator and how many watts u pushin out of your amplifier?

105amp(stock)with a total power of 1240watts from two amps Zx1000.1 and the Eclipse EA4200

Still the stock one. No dimming whatsoever at full volume. :)

are ur gains actually set to 3400 watts? if so how the hell do u do it? massive amounts of batts or what? lol

Gaines set for maximum unclipped power. I have lots of reserve power. Voltage never drops below 12.9.

lol naaahhh no pm i wanna know too lol. that was half the reason for the post too id like to know how electrical systems are holdin up and whats been done to them to maintain the voltage. guess i should have added that...

Okay then, if the OP is okay with it. Currently I have my stock battery up front, and I have two Deka Intimidator 9a31's in the rear, soon to be replaced by an XS Power D3100.

stock 120amp xs power bat upfront and deka 9a31 in the back

total power - 3760 watts

i get slight dimming so i may upgrade the alt down the line

Chevy 1500 series truck, upgraded to 2500 series (stock for diesel) - 2 batteries, 200 amp gm alternator, 3 Alfa Gell Cell batteries in rear, about 750 watts rms. Gains set to bare minimum for maximum headroom and Sound Quality. 1awg / 2awg welding cable for power and grounds.
