The rear end had 2:49 gears in it with an open diff... so i put in a posi unit with a set of 3:42 gears... adjustable upper control arms so i could set my pinion angle. changed all the bearings and seals and put new stronger diff cover.

This is so cool. I'm just sad to see the wheels go, they really looked good.

2004r transmission it has the stock cluch and friction count, wide band, sonnex servo. I rebuilt front pump with 10 vane rotor, Teflon Coated Pump Bushing, elevated pressure regulator spring, and high output pump slide spring. I replaced stator support and sun shell with hardened units, and stock valve body with the tci constant pressure valve body. Blocked off the accumulators. Installed an auxiliary filter from a Allison transmission to keep it all clean. Had to take it back apart. Forward clutch piston broke. need to find another.

The fun part will be driving it without it falling apart. Hopefully I can get the tranny right to hold up to the big block. right now its only behind the weak 307... :morepower1::suicide-santa:

700r4 doesn't have the bop bolt pattern. 400 doesn't have overdrive.. shifting gears is fun anyways :woot:
