Hello from Michigan

Recommended Posts

Newbie here saying hello from Michigan. I have been watching the SSA forum for a few months and have learned alot of new stuff just from reading. Car audio has been a hobby of mine since I could drive (only 7 years but hey). Soon I will be starting a new build on my 2003 Dodge Durango and thought it would a fun idea to post it here in the builds section.

Thank You,

Sean

Thanks guys.

Before I start I need a little help on my sub box. I am removing my third row seat. I want to build my sub box and amp rack right behind my second row seats(because I do put stuff in my suv).

The box will be a good distance away from the rear hatch. What sub/port placement would be the best for my situation?

I have a 12" Fi BL(cooling option) powered by a MB Quart DSC1500.1

I want to build the box 2.5cuft with 32hz tuning.

Thanks again,

Sean

welcome. :gayhaaay1:

A good box design for SUV's is sub up/port back. But that can all depend.

Yeah that is what I am used to building when my box would sit closer to the back. I am thinking now with it being right behind the 2nd row maybe sub up port up? or sub up port to the drivers side?
