LOL..... Why not try the GCONs first when they become available? Then move up the ladder to the ICON's, XCON's, and even a ZCON sometime in the future?

Exactly how I feel about my 15" Icon, one of the best sounding subs I heard and owned but it doesnt give me the output I desire.

Cant wait to recone it to an 18" and use it as a home theatre sub

I havnt checked out stats on the gcons time to go do that

I now try to avoid the ladder of upgrading, I would suggest saving money and jump big, that way you can have the sub longer before wanting to upgrade

I agree, keep saving until you can get something that you know you will hang onto for a while and enjoy the DCON's for the time being.

This advice is coming from someone who has owned 20 plus subs in the past year

I am sure that I will hang onto this new one for a bit....Fingers crossed!
