This truck has been through a lot, and it's far from done but this is what I have done so far.

hope you don't get in an accident, that sub will rip right out of that box and kill the passenger.

Those 18" UFO btls got some weight to em. Sure would take out any passenger!

It was only like this for a week. Then it went into the body shop. I'm building a new box and it won't be inverted. It was sketchy for me to drive it.

Nice job on the body man, I know that had to be an PITA. Sucks for what life throws at ya sometimes, no pun intended. And like the others said, it's not so much of the box being bolted down, it's the sub. I've owned one, and having it inverted like that, it's extremely top heavy. Glad to know you won't have it like that for the next build. Looking forward to more pics man. Looks like it's had an recone as well. What soft parts did you use?

bodywork is fun sometimes. I want to bolt the box down because the back of my truck is uneven and the roads are crap here. It's a FI recone.

Here is the box I'm in the process of building.

And I blew it last year on 1000 watts on an un-cliped signal. Kinda pissed me off.

Burned tinsel usually only means one thing, dirty signal.

That's what made me mad because the other one survived 10 days on 2000 watts on mostly clipped signal (I was trying to blow the other one) each coil was getting 500 watts. But it's gone and the sub needed a recone anyways.

I'll take a better picture the black is from the second coil.

My thought is that the fumes from the spray paint blew up the coil, but I may be crazy. And it was owned by 3 previous people and never reconed.
