Soooo the craziest thing just happened.

This weekend I met Travis' Girl friends new roomate. Today her ex-roomate from the college she transfered from friend request me and I'm just thinking "really?" you're wierd. She sends me a message with it and come to find out I used to talk to her on AIM back in middle school and I met her through a friend of hers that my friend I went to middle school with!

To make it less confusing

Ashley (the girl that friend requested me)

old friends with

Marrisa

who is a friend of

Jose

Who went to middle school with

Me

who is friends with

Travis

who is dating

Ashley 2

who just became roomates with

Lindsay (after some freak situation where one of Ashley 2's other roommates cancelled and they randomly stuck her in the empty spot)

who is former roomates of

Ashley (the girl that friend requested me)

Definitely mind bottling...

My Dad better be appreciative. His lack of having an email that floats in the cloud is making it a lot tougher for me to make the switch over to the new comp. Though I am very pleased how smooth it has gone considering I'm going from Outlook Express on XP to Windows Live Mail on Win7.

Although, it is ridiculous how many retarded email folders and crap that he keeps.

Chrome?

Much better on memory usage for me, Firefox seemed to have a memory leak for me. No matter what OS I was running firefox's memory would just climb when it was just idling. I guess I might be kinda hard on internet browsers, at any given time I have multiple browser windows open with multiple tabs open. Like right now I have six windows open with atleast 8 tabs on each window.

Had nothing to do with the browser. Ended up the computer was freezing a minute after rebooting.

Having to do it all over again now...

Ahh I normally just have one window open, but 3-15 tabs open all the time so it's never been a problem for me. I went to Chrome for a while and never liked it, I updates and customized FireFox and I've been happy.

I've got the same bad habbit of lots of tabs...

And today of all days the fonts changed on a few forums and websites. Weird, since I reinstalled opera, tried Firefox and IE and all show the same. Connected to a friend's PC and on his the fonts are ok.

Guess next week it's time to do a system restore to the clean windows install.

I don't like tabs, I do new windows. So when I come here to look at new posts I usually get 15-30 windows open at once.

Thanks. It helps, it really does. I figure even though it's insanely uncomfortable making private things public , it will definately motivate me to make changes. You're heaviest was my most fit! I had a 34" waist at 255-260.

Holy FUCK. I just recently bought all new shorts and jeans at a 34" waist; however, that is even a lie as my waist measures 37" Levi's are just not sized as labeled anymore. I'm down to 205, but don't really have any more to lose. I actually expect the opposite to happen and for me to gain weight back now, although I doubt my waist will grow.

34" and 255 means your upper body makes me look teh teeny. :)

For the first time in my life I understand the need for motivation to do what you are embarking on. My personal routine has different goal subsets, but the important one is there. Time to get healthy. If we can help in any way, holler!

And yes, keeping it public will help. For me, I am logging in Excel all my rides so I can look back and reflect all the time.

As with any task. Step 1 is to set a goal with the appropriate steps to get to it, Step 2 is to measure those steps as often as possible to make sure you are still on the right path.

I'll tell you one other rather motivating thing. Reproduce. I've never cared to make myself healthy for anyone like I do my son. I want to be able to be with him as long as possible and am definitely going to be the father who helps his teams, although that means he is going to have to pick a sport I like or can at least help with.

It wasn't all just upper body as my calves were 19" and thighs were 27". Pants were worse than shirts.

Me and my wife talked about kids the other day, and though they aren't in the mix right now, or maybe ever, just the thought of a little dude looking up to me made me feel some need to be in better shape..... just in case. Weird and awesome how people have these primal and wonderfull compulsions.

dem beats, I'm in the middle of trying to lose weight this summer. I'm looking at losing 25-30 lbs total (I've lost about 7 so far). For me it's all in the stomach. Truly, I have a little in my thighs but my arms and calves have hardly any fat at all. I'm hoping to get into the 185- 190 range then I'd really like to just add muscle and loose a proportional amount of fat to maintain my weight. I actually just made the jump to try out some supplements for weight loss other than vitamins, protein and the occasional creatine. I have added some fish oil pills in the morning (not really fat loss promoting but definitely health promoting. My general theory is if my body is given fat in the morning and digest it, it will more easily digest body fat during the day.) Most of what I am adding is naturally occuring product, but I also did order a diet pill for the first time.

This, like your low carb diet is just a short term thing for me. It's definitely not something I plan to be on for a long time and plan on a month and a half tops.

By the way, I am going to personally try to refrain from posting chit chat, etc... in your thread so that we can focus solely on your needs and your results.

Chat all you want about anything health related. As an added tip for you, the verry healthy fats will promote weight loss. You're whole body approach is a great way to do this BTW as it will get you long term sustainable results. check out udo's choice oil. . I really really really really really like that product. I use it in the AM with my morning shake and before bed with my nightime shake. It made an amazing difference in how fast I felt the weight slide off. It felt like it was less of a chore. Fatty acids our what our brain needs more than anything else, and some specialists beleive that our consumption of healthy fats over many thousands of years is what instigated our brain growth over time from the early stages of man. Weird science man!

I HATE tabs. Multiple windows is a MUCH better way. I also hate using a mouse and will use quick keys as much as possible. Fucking slow mice.
