Welcome to the IHoP

Recommended Posts

Thanks, I'm glad I had the chance to pick these up. I wish I could share the sound, but all I can do is show teh pics. Though having purchased these biases me somewhat, I don't think I have heard better that can fit into my current life, regardless of cost.

Spent from about 6 pm running them on different music until about 10 min ago.

You can share...invite me over ;P

What's it doing?

Not heat when on. Reset the system, did not fix it. Even in emergency mode, it cannot get over 60 degrees in the house.

We keep our house at about 55 almost all the time in winter.

I grew up in a massive Victorian home where my mother kept it between 52 and 54. But my little house is home (at least for the remainder of this month) to a little 4 year old, so I will pay to make sure he is warm.

Me too, although it was just 52 as that is where the thermostat bottomed out.

Any ford buffs know if ford currently has an oil change indicating system like GM has? That is, one that is based off of actual engine usage and not just mileage. If so, when did they start using it?

Edit: From what I've found the fanciest that Ford F-150s get is in the pic below

If so, there is drastic room for improvement. Which is where my research comes in. :D

There is an excellent writeup on the GM oil life monitor on a Cadillac forum I can try and find if you are interested, then again maybe you've already read all about the GM one.

nice sled.

I'm in a bind Fellas. I'm not sure what receiver to buy. I want to make a thread at HAF but it crashes the work comp!

Just mileage unless it has changed recently, but both my mother's '08 Edge and my sister's '09 Edge are this way. They have an indicator which is represented by %, but it corresponds with mileage. My mom's '06 Explorer was the same way.

Perfect, thanks for the clarification

I would definitely like to see it. I have read a lot, including reading through the patent and some of the SAE paper, but those are from the late 80's and the more information the better.
