Took the boat to an open house today. Could EASILY live there. Ours however isn't quite ready to list.

Would go from nearly 5000 sq ft to 2400. Detached garage too :(

Can't afford that even...which is why the downsize. Our house is ridiculous, we don't use any of it.

I bought it as a dock and investment. I want to upgrade the dock portion now.

Although a skinny lot and $200k overpriced, it has an uber sweet boat parking spot behind the house and road in quiet water. Quiet enough I could winterize the boat on the lift and not even own a trailer. And you don't have to see your boats to have them block your view.

Now I just need the lottery. Was more a curiosity visit than real interest. Plus who doesn't like going to open houses on a boat.

That kitchen would get a sledge taken to it.

And while square footage is important, I find proportioning just as important. Width of hallways, width of doors, width of stairways, height of ceiling, how the door's swing path affects traffic flow, etc.

Well, it's not open enough for me, I'd be taking down the stupid oven compartment. The kitchen should be an integral part of the family room IMO.

Needs more than paint, but nothing is fuck me expensive outside of appliances but I'm captain overboard in pretty much every part of my life.

Actually something fancy and ancient for a stove. Griddle on one half and some sort of new in 1980 heating pad on the other.

Either way, that's a get to not a half too. I've NEVER looked at a house that I'd keep the range from.

Of course, only Bluestar I know of is at my house.

And yes, it's >>> all other home rangetops.

I wish I would have gone with a blue star and not Dacor.

This thing is a bitch to clean.
