142.7 in trunk @ 34hz w/crx syle box lol

We slapped my old crx/suv (shop box) style box in Sound=Vibrations car to see what it would meter. With under powered subs @ 34 hz it did a 142.7. Congrats Ernie!

Nice score, what did he have on them?

they were in my 06 malibu ltz and they were underpowered plus lost alittle output with subs fireing upward but did damb good i think for two undeerpowered tens.. cant wait to hear my horn from thumper on full power.

swiss audio 2000 soming forgot the model its in my sig but gain was only about 1/4 the way up below half for sure lows sounded amazing

It is. ;) The Icons preform very well in standardish sized enclosures, but as we have seen in testing and many other people have, that when leaning to the somewhat larger end, these drivers really set them selves apart from their peers. They have the suspension and motor to keep things in check when going to these larger enclosures. Plus Mark is a big box kind of guy, if you have not already noticed. :) I believe that box is approximately 3.42 cubes. :)

im actually leaning towards a 12" or 15" xcon do you know if i would have enough space for a big enough enclosure for the 15?
