4x SA-8s + The CRX = More Fun

Recommended Posts

So Derrick came up today and constructed a box for me for my four SA-8s... still two 1500Ds on one Stinger SPP-1500D and one Stinger SPV-70 battery on Powermaster Charger (car off).

We built the box from scrap 5-layer pine plywood for testing... we plan to use birch ply for another version at a later date.

Results here :

Setup with four 1500s (very messy... 10 lbs of stuff in a 5 lb bag, LoL) -- two amps under rack and two on top.

If the four amps end up staying I will order some matching wire and get it looking a bit nicer... wired it up with scrap wire to see if it would work well or not.

YES! Hit my goal :) Went up one more click on sub control on the HU... this is probably all they have excursion wise.

Have plans to try different boxes at some point as well.

Brought it out in Macon, GA to a 3x dB Drag / 2x IASCA event over the weekend. Heat threw me off a bit but still did pretty well :

152.1 dB Drag SSNW

Great job! Just curious, where did you get such a huge aero? That's like an 8", right? Did you make it or buy it?
