Im not quite sure what you mean, but if you mean how much boot did i need for the blowthru I used 10-12 ft.

If you mean how much area did i cut out for the blowthru, the actually cut was I believe 44w and 19 tall. If I am completely off on your question lol then ask me another way and ill do my best to answer ^_^

Thank you, yeah i liked these pics especially the amp pics, they are monster amps and put out tons of power! Yes I am in the lead as of right now. I hope to stay in the lead so .....

To everyone if you have not voted for me on SMD please take a minute and go over to SMD system of the month and vote for me. I would greatly appreciate it. :)

Whats your name? Hes right you cant breathe when the low notes hit or the high notes! lol low notes just suck the breath out of you and the high notes grab your throat and choke you out. XD I guess you can say minor issues, more like just needs lots of tuning and tweeking. lol. As loud as it was at travis's shop.... it still had alot more in it. Mandan is a long way up there coming from Oklahoma City, Ok. But i wont rule it out as I am going to be doing a lot of driving all over the place so we will have to see. :)

The shop I was in was Travis's shop in Iowa, those are customer subs waiting for recones i believe. I may be able to hook you up with something. PM me!

Good! Hmm you still might be able to fit in 15s! You may have to shave the top and bottom walls but I bet you could do it! :)

I'm Tyler Fitterer from Bismarck, ND. I would really like for you to come up as no one up here really knows what Sundown is and I'm having a hard time getting it started as everyone is one minded here-if it doesnt say Kicker, JL, Alpine or Rockford it is sh!t. But also im looking into doing 8 SA15s in a vented clam but i have no idea where to start on it.....i just need something to run both of my warhorses on :) and something to make people go OMG!!!! And what better way then with entry level Sundown and 20k watts??

Like I said it would be a long hard drive up there from OKC, but I will have to see. I understand, some people are blinded by trends, but those companies have great marketing. thats why they have such a following. But myself aswell as others try to get people to stand back and take a look at the whole picture. 8 15s would be nasty, should deff get the job done. But as much power and abuse as the SA's will take, I think that you would be pushing the envelope putting 20k on 8 SA's on music. I would do Z's or NS's :) best place to start is to ask someone that knows.

i'm going off what travis and curt say. if i build really soon it will be sa15s until the x line comes out and i can afford to upgrade to them. like they said this way i can pound them daily and push them in the lanes, which is a good point i think.....also i think the x line should take it no problem and so do they. i dont know if my build will start until this winter. if i wait out this year it may be a little bigger then anyone can imagine. i have a goal and i always get my goals....sometimes it takes a little long but i will have a 163db min on music at the glass! just dont know when...

I understand that , and your power output is going to vary on many things, but lets talk scenario. Say your reactive load is very controlled and yourr power plant allows for that kind of current draw. Say you get your full 20k to your subs. Of course your talking about 2500 watts per sub. I know Travis has a lot of faith in the SA subs. I do to!! The faith in the SA subs is very well earned and deserved! But like i said your really pushing the envelope with 2500watts on these subs daily on music. Im sure it can be done.....But ........for how long? I dont mean to discurage you at all, I think you have a great goal and i think that you can achieve it. You can start out on the SA's but i would most definitely go bigger when you can. Until then just be aware that you would be pushing near 5x's the rated power to these subs so be cautious. :)

the x line definitely sounds like a subs for you, I actually am looking at that line myself to run.

I am very excited to see your build take off :) if you have any questions or ever need any help with your system or Sundown product please dont hesitate to let me know.

:)

I will be switching to 16v and will be using a bunch of the new Sundown NS1's.

If anyone is interested in the 200.4s let me know, let are a monster of an amp and can be used on either mids and highs or on your subs. They are an amazing solid 3200+watt amp at 12v
