150 on music goal

Recommended Posts

Install is going to be a significant part of getting to 150db!

Cone and port area are the key!

Does it look like I'm on the right track with cone area?

yeah

Okay so I'm on the right track I know that.

There are a lot of quality choices out there. The SSA Store carries some very good candidates and other vendors on the forum have some options!

What would you recommend?

I am partial to Sundown. But I have run Incriminator, Fi, and SSA and niether has dissapointed.

I would start with a Sundown Nightshade V.2, Incriminator Audio Death Penalty, SSA ZCON, FI BL etc.

What type of vehichle?

4 Sundown SA-12" Would be a good choice but that depends on how much room there is.

They won't all fit in the box.

15" XCONS then! Proven to be loud as fawk and retain good sq!

Xcons have been proven to be great subs, but it seems with your goals that something like a BTL or if your set on SSA then the Zcon series seems better suited to your goals IMO.

I have about 7.5 cubes to work with maybe .6 at the most so the subs would need to work best in that size box and I don't want to go any bigger than the 3500d because I dont think the electrical can handle more.

that should be just about right for the 15s in the small ported box :drink40:
