'02 F150 zcon & AQ build

hey guys, i thought i had already started a build log for my new truck but i guess not. so here it is, i have a '02 f150 lariat ext cab truck.

HU: sony xplode (the nice one haha)

speakers: stock for now :/

Subs: SSA zcon 15

Amp: audioque 3500.1

Wiring: all 0 gauge with the big 3 done (all done today 1/2/12)

Alt: stock 130amp at the moment but will have a new one around end of January

i still have it in that birch box i have. its like 3.5cubes and tuned @32. not to bad but its beggin for more

well got all the wood cut today from altons plans. i also went and used a sanding pad on every cut line to smooth everything out tomorrow i will start putting it all together

well i got the box built today looks great IMO for only my second time ever building. here are MASS pics. i am installing and building a map rack tomorrow after work....

well i just took the box for a test drive... and im not to happy to say the least. it gets REALLY loud, but sounds like shit. i may use it for slamology to get a good score but thats about it. im going to have to have someone make me a box because for some reason, mine sound like shit. its all sealed up and air tight. idk what it is FAIL

Did you brace it properly? Are you SURE it is all sealed where it should be? Why does it "sound like shit"?

Doesn't sound good on music at all:/ the lower notes (28-36hz) sound really loud but just.. don't sound right. That make sence?
