Start to the enclosure build. 1.5 cubic feet before subwoofer displacement. Should be perfect for a 12" sealed.

I got a great deal on them used. They are way more affordable even brand new than I originally thought. I have not used JL products in awhile and I was pleasantly surprised while looking at their product lineup.

You are going to like those JL XD amps. I ran them for a short while and they worked flawlessly.

Small update. I am scrapping the spare tire enclosure. I will be using a standard box that I can remove when needed. New enclosure pictures soon.

Audio is on a hold for now. Other upgrades will be made to the car first.

Some new suspension parts:

H&R Springs/Bilsteins Shocks

This car does not have the self leveling suspension, so installation is straightforward and easy. The new springs will provide a small drop to the ride height. Nothing to crazy

I was waiting on some spring shims to start on the suspension work. Now I am getting body work done in the next couple of days. Hopeful to have the car back for the weekend to work on it. New brakes all around soon as well.

Outside of racing. . . .

All my shit gets Steins, except my old T-bird, but I got a deal on some Red Konis that was too good to pass up.  They make pretty nice stuff too.

A few updates: car was repainted the factory color and suspension work is done.

After paint:

After suspension work, the h&r springs claim a 1.3" drop from factory. I can definitely tell the front is lower, the rear end is slightly higher than before because it was sagging when I bought the car. It is an amazing difference. Feels like a Benz again.
