Help choose two amps for my system from a list please!

Recommended Posts

I have an 07 Dodge Ram 3500 Mega Cab

My head unit is:

- Kenwood KDC-BT852HD. Which is 50W x 4

In my front doors I have:

- Alpine Type R SPR-69 speakers. Which is RMS 100w & Peak 300w

In the rear doors I have:

- Alpine Type R SPR-60 which is RMS 100w & Peak 300w

For my sub I have:

- Alpine Type R SWR-12D2 which is RMS 1000w and Peak 3000w

Now I need help on choosing an amp to power everything and I`d like to

get the most out of all 4 speakers and sub. I have a list below of amps that will work with my system.

Which two amps would be best for my set up?

Thanks!

- Polk PA D1000.1

- Alpine MRX-F65 4-Channel 640W RMS Amplifier

- Rockford Fosgate T400-4 Power Series Compact 4-Channel Amplifier

I didn't see any other thread, so I'll just reply here lol. What is your budget? And if quality is of any concern, you'll stay far far away from the Cadence TXA amps and JVC.

Why does it have to be from that list?

no need to amp the rear speakers. i'm not sticking your list, that's ridiculous.

2200 on the sub and either a 2200 or 2150 on the front speakers. personally i'd sell the front speakers and buy a set of comps.

Audioque 120.4 and Audioque 1200D. May as well match them up.

Interesting answers on this thread.

The RF Power amps are a step above the others you listed, if you can afford to get them that's the way I'd go for sure!

Sub amp-Nak or Rockford-I,ve used both and they are great.A cut above the others you mentioned.

Speaker amp-Cadence or Rockford.I,ve used the Rockford and it sounds clean and is somewhat underated power wise.I haven't used the Cadence but I have seen good reviews on the ZRS series and I like it because you can bandpass the rear speakers to keep some of the high end out so they don't pull the stage backwards as bad.
