I don't think I could get beyond 3

You bleed hotdish and purple bro.

Hotdish, rofl.

Need a real winter. Would like more than we have, but that isn't easy without altitude.

Oh yes, plenty of competition. Only had time to visit one dealership today, though.

Never say a Toyota dealership that won't negotiate.

Faster? Sure.

Until you crack 20+ road bike aerodynamics don't really slow you down though it is all rolling resistance. Unlike most Lance Armstrong wannabes the reality is also that fatter tires have less rolling resistance...until the air resistance trumps them.

So a set of ultra skinnies on your mt bike may do you just as well. The rest depends on fit and body positioning. Of course if you run out of gear now, you'll really run out with a set of slicks on it.

And yes, tires with NO TREAD at all are better on a road bike EVEN in water than those with. Something in the 28-32mm range is ideal. 32 being the most comfortable, but 28 probably being the quickest. Anything skinnier is for aero and you need to be humping for that to help.

Of course, you can buy that thing and sell it for more obviously.

I average 14-15 so I assume I can get to 20 on straights where I'm in the highest gear and cadence is 50-60. Any sort of front wind kills me, skinny tires and no fenders should help.

Current tires are slicks but the front is fat, the rear is skinnier.

Yeah, I'm thinking I can buy it and then sell it if I don't like it.

Took the radiator out of the Jeep yesterday.

About a quarter of the fins were corroded and turned into dust when touched. It's getting sent out today to somebody who builds Aluminum radiators. Old core is 1.5" thick, I'm going with 2.5" thick for the new one.

And it seems like there is a lot of crap in the cooling system, probably residue from the new heads, even though I cleaned them out with gasoline and diesel. I'll just put a big hose in place of the radiator and run it with some cleaning solution a few times.

I seriously hate shopping for a new place.

I just want simple things

- Min two bed (three preferred)

- min 1.5 bath

- Garage

- Fenced Yard

- Somewhat decent kitchen

- Washer dryer

- Not in the ghetto

Seems like wanting that at or under 1k a mth plus utilities is getting to be a bitch.

Where I live 1K would be about right for something that I would consider nice. By nice I mean clean and in a house that isn't crappy.

That is a cute truck. Hideous wheels IMHO, and too low.

Yes, but the removal of all the plasti-chrome makes me happy. A little would help tie in the wheels but there is SO MUCH on the truck it is sickening.

Yea see if I was willing to live further from the beach in Tampa I would be able to do that. Would require a longer drive for the girl, being further from the beach and starting from scratch with a new VA. Not exactly a bunch of positives.
