He is just about my last choice in the Republicans though....and the one spot he will do worse at regrettably is in foreign policy furthering the disgust of other countries to us. For that alone I am scared of him. I was still 80% aligned with him, which obviously says the left was WAY down.

I need to buy a car to leave at my office in CA. Going to use it when I am there, but mostly let interns or other guests use it to avoid rental cars. On average we are spending $500/mo on a rental and that is idiotic considering it is for 2000mi/yr or something dumb.

Curious what you'd all buy. Something in the $8k range, fun to drive, decent storage, and fairly low cost of ownership. Doesn't need to be "nice" but can't be a dumper either. Isn't normally in my wheel house to think of stuff like that. Considering it is a company asset it can't be something uber old either.

I don't even know what fits in a fun, new, short trip category for 8k.  Never once looked for a car that was for local trips only.  Plus I hate small cars so that doesn't help.

Well back to reffing wrestling again starting next weekend. When a WWE Hall of Famer asks a family member if you want to start reffing for him, it's hard to say no. At a minimum it gives me a chance to have my abilities as a ref seen by the WWE, TNA, and other top wrestling organizations.

Considering my knee is not getting worse, or any better, it's worth a shot.

Sorry guys. Perhaps I did not explain very clearly. My apologies.

From 15-20 I traveled the road with my older brother (and from 18-20 with his wife as well) doing independent wrestling (the 'indies') doing whatever was asked of me. Selling concessions, tickets, security, music, video camera, ring announcer, carrying bags, setting up and tearing down rings, etc. What is called 'paying my dues' and also learning how to be a wrestler in the mentallity at least. I also learned how to be a good ref. When I left for Active Duty, wrestling took a back seat as I had no way to do much with it. When i got out a few years ago and moved to FL wrestling and getting back the relationship my brother and I never really got as kids was the reason. Since then I have reffed all over centeral FL.

As my brothers wrestling career has been winding down due to injuries, so has my appearances as a ref, since we were always a 'package deal' when it came to being booked. Well he came back to WXW to help run things backstage. The owner of WXW is 'Afa The Wild Samoan' (half of 'The Headshrinkers' with his brother Sika). Afa has sent numerous people to the WWF/WWE such as Batista, The Rock (his nephew), and The Usos (another tag team) and he is also part of 'The Samoan Dynasty' (a huge family of professional wrestlers). Well my brother had told Afa ages ago that I would like to ref for WXW and since until recently he hadn't been needing more, I had just been photographing the shows for the last few months.

This past week Afa asked my brother to have me ref for them. This gets me an opportunity to be seen by the WWE, TNA and many other feds. Will this lead to even a ohone call for a tryout? Possibly. Am I counting on it? Nope. But this is a chance to work for a man who has forgotten kore about wrestling than I could ever hope to know. Honestly, I feel priveleged for the opportunity as this is not an 'easy' job as a ref can make a bad match look amazing and vice versa. Even if I somehow get a tryout with WWE physically I most likely would fail their physical. But tomorrow I make my debut at WXW.

If you guys want to see some of the guys I work with 'WXW Rage TV' is the YouTube name, and 'Marc Mandrake' is my older brother. I warn you, my brother is not always family friendly in his language (much like me) and he was one of the best hardcore wrestlers (tables, thumbtacks, light tubes, etc) you'll ever see.

If you guys have questions about wrestling, ask away. I won't guve away everything, but I will answer as much as I can.
