I think it's screening into the metal door skin when mounted

There is about 8 mounts drilled in around the pod and door that will join the two together. The pod itself will absorb most of the energy.

Attaching a ported enclosure to a door that is well "padded" should be fine.

Not sure what technically these will be in. No, their not designed to be ported, but in the door, I suppose it's either a sealed enclosure, about 2cuft, or a leaky sealed. The 12s are mounted onto about a 3" thick wood ring, in addition to be wrapped in extremely heavy fleece that is then layed down with fiber. Then, the enclosure if mounted with several full threaded bolts on the back side to make the panel a once piece.

Obviously I didn't recall right from earlier in the thread. Those drivers really want to be ported so I figured and remembered that you were going to. Doh.gif

Yeah, I would have wanted that optimally! Just, was unable to fit the space. I will post up a FR Graph soon, after SBN, I will continue this thread to be update with results.

Thanks Brandon!

Yeah we used swede. I haven't seen them in person yet, currently at work LOL. I am anxious, and they are finished just in time. Tweeking will be done after SBN as we are already cutting it really close! Leaving tomorrow for Florida. SQ competition for me won't begin until the 12th of next month most likely.
