Certainly you can. You would however need to externally bandpass the signal, as you can not bandpass all 6 channels at those frequencies with the on-board crossovers. Only channels 3&4 have the appropriate crossovers for your needs.

You could build a small sealed or ported box on the cheap. Personally I would build one of the ported boxes in the SSA tech sections and wake that sub up!

I can watch the whole thing at -18dB master +12dB sub, or almost all of it at -15dB master +12dB sub... only movie I can do that with. On top of that, it seems HP'ed the only reason I have to turn it down on a cpl parts is the midbass/high bass is insane and kills my voltage. This movie is PACKED with ULF, packed with single digits. But it is at such a low level, and, much lower than the rest of the LFE. It is simply over run by mid/high bass. Sorry, I got super busy since last update. I've worked on my car as much as possible, but haven't gotten as much done as I would have liked. Cold and parents being a big hindrance. I do have a solid plan now which I'm excited about. I got the subs hopping which is awesome. I can't wait to get the doors sealed up and see how much the ID OEM v1's can kill my car =D But on that note my parents don't want me spending close to 800$ on sound deadening. Which has really stumped me. Now I don't know what to deaden and where to spend my money and such. It's annoying. I'm still waiting for that perfect moment to say hey, about that... And still go for the complete and perfect setup that I've wanted since day one. But enough of my jabbering you want pics right??? I would, personally, up the total to $250. They're old school amps but built like tanks and have some of the best SQ even in todays market and the amp will allow you to go fully active on the fronts w/o processing, the amp.... Phoenix Gold ZX450. It has one of the most complex/flexible xovers in/on an amp. You can HP the tweets from 300Hz up to ~5k Hz, and you can bandpass the mids from 30Hz to ~5k Hz. I have one and loved it. It sits as a collectors item now. They usually run for about $250 on ebay. That's where I would start. And if you have the PG RSD comps, there would be no need to upgrade your speakers.

This platform grabs the ULF flop from the subs quite well, other than that this thing is totally unphased by four 18's and two 12" ports and people jumping up and down, back up, back down all day long day after day, but there's just one activity that always worries me so i finally had to do sumthin bout it

Well with the added two 18's my substage SQ went way up, so Ive been doing more critical listening (sure those cubes are as bad as it can get, but the receiver sure milks them for what they're worth) and I just couldnt take the "tunnel vision" from them being 3' deep between the towers. I brought them out, real ugly I know, but OMFG! I had to back things down 2dB off the batt, but even my woman looked at me right away like "wow, did that really just happen? Did that really change things that much?" Cuz now it's actually surround, not mono muffled The surrounds faced forward, were hard to hear, now theyre standing out like they should.

But I put some white stickers in diff spots to see if it was the same flex all over or just by the driver. Lucky me! 24Hz is where it is worst, but a few Hz in each direction and flex is minimal. Took the drivers out of the 10 cube box, put them back in the towers. Ill most likely put the 2nd driver's on the inside top otherwise outside top here's the vibration vid

This thing is loud. lol. I gotta brace my house. I just watched the first movie with it. Inception was the movie. There was constant bass almost all the time. And I added the 5lbs of polyfill. I'll leave it since I don't wanna take the sub out again.

It will not give you any gain, the cable essentially splits the voltage between the two. So are there any downfalls to splitting a signal this way?

I read on one of the forums the settings are complicated. is this true? its a nice amp for sure, especially for the $9000 off the normal retail price. but not a fan of kicker. i woulda threw a couple hundred with that mone and got an audioque 20k
