on a V8 its usually a pair of 4"x9"x14" mufflers. Or something relatively close; 4x8x14, 4x9x14, 5x9x14 5x8x14, etc.

It should be the same with V6, I6, and I4 engines, you just might need one instead of two. Most 4 and 6 cylinder gas engines I've heard just don't have much of that low frequency rumble you're describing with only a new exhaust. Usually takes a lumpy cam too.

Yes, but why. If its for performance gains I am down, but to be loud I don't get.

Can you have an awesome exhaust sound, but in a way that it won't add much noise when listening to music?

Can good sound deadening ( I mean really good, with a good amount of money and labor put into it ) do the trick?

I won't be listening to music with the windows down. Windows up- music, windows down - engine music. :P

if you can cover the windows too, then yes. Otherwise self defeating

Weird, i hear very little of the exhaust with the windows up yet with the windows down it's clearly audible up to 2000rpm. Over that, the engine overwhelms it.

And it's probably the engine at fault for not hearing the exhaust with the windows up.

Had to drive 30 miles once with the hatch open. It was fun, especially with the go-pedal down

That's really detailed. Pretty cool that you're able to do that.

Hauling something I guess? I always find it amusing seeing someone do that. I also get in the other lane

What's a reasonable limit for vent mach in ft/sec before you start getting port noise? 113ft/sec? <-This would be 10% of speed of sound, roughly.

Yeah...had to carry 70 fence posts for a friend. Thank God for the heavy grille and the heavy amp cover.

Thanks.

We don't build these 100%, some are in pieces and unpainted and others are broken and tore up and we make repairs to use in our haunt.

This guy is my favorite. We put leds in his eyes with a fade controller so eyes eye will go from glowing to very bright and he also moves toward you as you are walking upon him.
