first I am going to make breakfast.

Cream cheese, tarragon omelets, a blackberry banana smoothie, and some toasted ciabatta with blood orange marmalade.

Dinner is on the smoker, but I still have to roast the green chile's and stew the pinto's so I can fry them.

simmer is probably a better word than stew, but wtf

I had been raking a little daily. But it has rained for 3 days now, so what has fallen is stuck for now. :(

You guys need to get a leaf vacuum. No need to use a rake.

Royal Caribbean's record-setting $1.5 billion, 1200-foot-long, 16-deck-high, 220,000-ton, Tower-of-Babel-on-sea luxury cruiser has finally set sail from Finland to Miami. I hate to be the one to ask but, um, there aren't any icebergs on the way, right guys?

Royal Caribbean named this affront to god the "Oasis of the Seas," which, yeah, is a super cheesy name, but it's not like there's anything subtle about a god damn 1200-foot-long boat. It'll operate out of Miami and begin offering cruises in December. The Oasis of the Seas has a maximum capacity of around 6,000 people, which for the record is larger than the population of MY ENTIRE HOMETOWN. It's about 50% bigger than the current frontrunner in the "Titanic 2/Icarus" competition, the Queen Mary II, so now you can all feel free to hop on board that ship, since the Oasis of the Seas (really, you guys had to brag about the several seas in which this ship will be an oasis? It's really annoying, grammatically) is sure to be the one to sink in a blaze of indoor amphitheaters and miles of buffet lines.

This ship looks to be very impressive. I hope to be able to visit it at some point. The power plant is something I would love to see.

To see this in person rather than pictures is truely awesome.

What is even better is to see them in drydock.

You can see them in Nassau Bahamas, that is where they do most of the ship's maintenance. Very awesome to check out if you are ever down that way.

Beautiful, I want that wagon!

Yes that's right, an M Wagon. Many of you who bothered to click through the E34 M5 convertible gallery noticed the M5 Wagon (or "Touring" as BMW calls the 5-door in a lame attempt to mask its wagonness) just sitting there. We were going to say something, but, you know how it is -- pics or it didn't happen. Anyhoo, the story goes that BMW wanted to build the E39 M5 Wagon but some issue with the rear axle misbehaving led them to decide that the car just wouldn't be up to M Division snuff. And the plug was pulled.

Time to go trout fishing. Got quite a late start since I slept in a lot longer than I expected (about 11 hours last night). But hey, apparently I needed the sleep.
