Lol@ your brother saying to get 2 hifonics amps over 2 3000Ds.

I would suggest getting your information on this site rather than your brother.

Maybe just one if you can fit that on top of the amp(s) and batteries, IF you don't modify the back seat to use it for box space.

I suggest adding a bit of bracing in the box if you can do it even tho the glue is dry.

Well...if you don't do it you are going to have to get used to the sound of your BTL's ripping your box to pieces.

There will be no difference in sound.

double baffeling and bracing to have an effect on sound from what i understand....... notr to the ear... but numbers..

when the box flexs the wood reverarates??? is that a word? i know its not spelled right if it is!

and most deff you will blow boxes apart...

Yeah bracing can make a whistling noise if it has sharp edges.

P.S. John the word is reverberate ;)

When an amplifier is pushed to create a signal with more power than its power supply can produce, it will amplify the signal only up to its maximum capacity, at which point the signal will be amplified no further. As the signal simply "cuts" or "clips" at the maximum capacity of the amplifier, the signal is said to be "clipping". The extra signal which is beyond the capability of the amplifier is simply cut off, resulting in a sine wave becoming a distorted squarewave type waveform.

Because the clipped waveform has more area underneath it than the smaller maximum unclipped waveform, the amplifier produces more output power. This extra power can cause damage to any part of the loudspeaker, including the woofer, tweeter, or crossover, via overheating.

And Kent, are you true Team Sundown?
