Taxes should be deposited tomorrow so I will be ordering everything in the next week. The 3500 would be shipping today but I requested that they wait & ship it all at once. I know it will be alot of work going active but I love tweeking settings anyway & will enjoy the challenge. The doors will be going off to be glassed once all the front stage is delivered. I am getting hyped as hell now! A few other things like sound deadening will need taken care of before everything is installed.

Wired down to .3 today looking for a 59+, amps didn't like it. Had to turn gain down -4db on head unit, riding around hitting 58's with one window down driving down the rode on music. Passenger was like WTF...lmao. Had to wired back to .6 each. Will hit a 58.7 like a brick wall but no higher. Need to reinforce roof to go higher I guess. Doing 155.5 all sealed up. This bitch gets down like a mofo. I think if I had another 5500 a 59.5- 60 would be possible.

Gains are set at amp. But I have level control on head unit.

I have always set gains by ear, which happens to be about 11:00 on amp.. Had a DD1, ended up right where I set by ear. Sold it.

I will set gain by ear on a roughly -3 tone, gives alittle breather since most music sees a -5 -6 bass lines. Once that is done I can fine tune from HU level control if I need to turn down instead of using a knob.
