2 things. 1) that sub looks beautiful. 2) this is very off topic but what program are you using to design your boxes? But like I said that is a very beautiful subwoofer!

How soon do you think the new look will be available for the 10" ICON and will the surface cone area change what size box they need to be put in? Thanks

Oh the agony of being a Sundown Rep! I love the DCON but I may have to step it up and go with the new ICONS when the time comes! :peepwall:

Looks like an Heavy box : triple baffle, lots of (artistic) bracing.

Looks like double to me. :puzzled:

its a double baffle, with a 3rd flush mount baffle.

whoops, my bad...the rings around the first baffle make it look like there is another baffle, but taking a closer look, it is a double baffle with one being the flush mount.

Just a teaser pic of what the box will look like. The top of it should have a very large SSA logo popping out of it. All built on a CNC.

This will be a prefab box that we are going to offer to customers (assuming all turns out well like it should)

mark2.png

minus the screen door bracing it's almost an exact replica of my center port enclosure

....the subs being mounted so far apart reduced output by almost 3db

but it did have decent SQ

wow, never thought that it would be such a big difference. i was thinking of doing this type of box, but with subs up, port back. maybe i should change my mind. never thought it would change so much.

it sill looks sick, and those subs are going to be amazing.
