i've been pucking with the subs all evening, and they are acting seriously weird. they are atlas (one 2ohm coil, one 4) i have htem wired to 1.33 ohm (two 2ohms in series, paralleded with the two 4s) which was sucking after i ran a separate wire for the two 2s. I hook it up to just 4ohm each and they sound great (blown 2ohm coil?) so i hook them up not using the new wire as a 3ohm (2/4 in series then parallel with other 2/3) and they still sound great??? so the only variable left is the wire. I hook it back up to 1.33 ohm, running two runs of speaker wire from the amp(mono) and each strand goes to a 4ohm coil. I run a strand from neg on one 2ohm coil to pos on the other 2ohm coil. Then branch from the pos on one 4ohm coil to the pos on the unused 2ohm's positive. Use the negative from the other 4ohm doil to match up to the leftover negative 2ohm coil. Hopefully you all understand that. I don't think its "right" to do but it still gives the right configuration, its ugly, but guess what...1.33 ohms this way sounds good. So...still means that new wire i bought must have been crap.

Also yesterday one of my 4ohm coils were reading 8ohm, today its fine?

Ramos = t3h bestest guy in the world.

Chirst that Benz is beautiful. Glad it's parked in the driveway :D

Someone should brand a McDonalds drive-thru window with a TeamSSAudio.com sticker.

Looks like a blast though ... wish I could be there just to meet the guys.
