'07 Silverado - Murder Murder Murder

It's been a while since I posted on any audio forum, but I got a new truck that doesn't quite piss me off as much as the last couple did. So I figured I'd share the progress with you guys.

Here is my 2007 Silverado - 4 Door LT - 5.3L V8. Purchased used about two months ago. Feel free to ask any questions or post suggestions.

I'm 22

From Louisiana

Can't cut wood strait so probably wont be doing any audio builds myself.

I do like to try to do things myself and I may do it wrong and it may take longer but I do want to say I did some things myself!

You came to the right place for audio suggestions but it would help if you could give everyone what kind of budget you have for the amp/mids/headunit.

Black out the bow tie that changes the look a lot and its cheap prob 50 bicks for front and back or paint it your self

paint it yourself. costs all of $8. some sandpaper and a can of flat black paint.

for some reason your truck looks really different to me compared to other 07s. My brother's didn't look as good to me but idk. love the black out with tint

Step 4 . . . DROP KIT?!?!??!?!

I used DJM 3/5 Kit and did a 3/6 drop (achieved when using stock shackle instead of DJM's adjustable shackle). Also installed Belltech street performance shocks in the rear. Since I am a noob and have never done a drop kit before . . . this was a painful weekend. Didn't take many pics due to the hours of frustration involved. However I did take a few. Enjoy!

Since one of my side mirrors was destroyed. I ordered a replacement from LMC. This one however has the paintable top instead of all textured. It came in and is a perfect match to my truck without painting. Nice! The other side should be in this week.

The next several pictures are where shiz gets nasty. Boss Customs is working on my truck this weekend and these are just "in progress" pictures. Every textured/chrome exterior piece is going to be painted. Check out the progress!

Budget . . . not really sure what direction I'm going . . . as far as fiberglass work in the doors etc. I guess depends on what kind of deal I can get as to how far into it I go.
