I want some opinions from you guys.

Looking at going back to school but not certain about what is the best fit.

Looking for something useful more than 3 years after graduation, that pays well.

I truly suck at advanced math and know I need to learn more.

Engineering and Computer Science are safe bets.

Good suggestion.

Nope.

Just ordered 3 of those Moto E's you posted Sean. Should be here this week. They are newer phones but all of the reviews were very positive. Obviously for a $130 smartphone the screen isn't HD, the processor is comparatively slower and the camera sucks. But has a microSD card slot for up to 32gb addt'l to storage, the OS is unmolested and full featured and for what the 3 of us will be using them for the screen, camera and processor aren't huge deals. My wife and I both have tablets to use at the house anyways.

And according to their website ATT is waiving activation fees on bring you own phones this month, so that should save me another $120 on activation fees.

The no-name brand thing scares me.

Right now I'm taking welding, and working on getting my certificate... Pipefitters make 45-60$ an hour.

Anyone use plex for media streaming or another software? I'm looking to stream movies and music from a linux server to computers or phones. Main goal is having all my music available on my phone like a personal pandora.

I use Plex. It works very well, but the initial set up is a PITA, it will take hours.

I'm beginning to learn that. I got it setup and appeared to be working on the local network. Added a few songs to the library then they randomly disappeared. Tried enabling remote access via their "myplex" and now when I login to the interface it doesn't show the actual server anymore, just my plex account information. Ugh! I don't like that you have to have an account through plex.com and use them as a third party for connecting remote computers.

It's annoying, but once it is set up it works extremely well.

Thanks man, perfect timing as I needed 3 32gb microsd cards for the phones I just ordered. I think their 60% off is a little optimistic, believe the cards I bought were $20 yesterday but on sale for $15 today. Not complaining though, that's still $15 saved and free shipping...saving money is saving money :)

Flat bench was just that today, but incline and decline kicked Ass. I will take it for today.

I rocked out flat bench today. Most weight I've ever done. 1x10 @ 85lbs dumb bells, then 1x10, 1x8 & 1x7 @ 90lbs DB, gave myself a few seconds rest on the last set and got 5 more reps @85lbs again. Probably weak sauce to you guys, but at 180lbs myself that's more than my body weight and I've only been lifting since Feb.

And to put that into perspective...I have my book from my senior year weights class in high school, which I was in the entire school year. My max DB bench was 1x10 @ 65lbs + 1x10 @ 70lbs. So in 4 months lifting at 32years old I'm significantly stronger than I was at 17/18 years old after close to a year of lifting.

Keep it going Brad! That does make you feel good knowing that.

I was wanting to push my flat bench up, but could not pass where I was last week. Shit happens. Now I am super sore and going to get some rest to hit the arms hard in the morning.

Then off to work on the house again.

Triceps are involved in bench / push movements. Never do bench one day then triceps the next.

If you did bench movements today you should do biceps, rows, ect tmw. Next day legs. Then the next day back to pushing exercises. You need 3 days between working out the same muscle groups to expele lactic acid and rebuild muscle tissue.

I finally got it working. I only have 100gb of space so I won't have much movies, but I've been using it for music today and it's awesome. :D

Sweet, glad someone could use it. I saw the sale on the ssds and thought maybe Matt needed a few for all his porn.

I'd go with OpenVPN, seems pretty easy too: http://www.howtogeek.com/64433/how-to-install-and-configure-openvpn-on-your-dd-wrt-router/

Oh and if you want I can make you a subdomain *.bitpusher.in to point to your IP if you don't want to buy a domain / use dynamic dns or what ever it is.

I don't quite understand where I'd need video and music away from wifi, of course I don't understand why I'd need video or music. I carry plenty of music and outside of planes never watch video.

Different strokes for different folks. When I was working that 70 day refuel project almost every guy there was on a smartphone or tablet during downtime/breaks; Facebook, YouTube, Hulu, Netflix, et al. Me? I bought a giant crossword puzzle book from Costco.

Indeed. For me all downtime is forum time, otherwise I am doing something.

Sean, where should do we eat in Boston airport?

Legal Seafood. Super popular restaurant in downtown (which is absurd because it is mediocre) but for airport food in Boston you have not so many choices.

I came really close to buying an Oppo while overseas. No name to us is not no name to the world. That being said, that phone is a no name. Probably a Chinese company that sells as many units as Apple though, rofl.
