Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Recommended Posts

Road trip next weekend (to a competition) so this week I have to:

Change oil (it's due)

Drill holes in the extra bumper to vent the oil cooler. Good thing I now have a drill press. Quite a bit of work on ducting though.

Try to install the mmats lm2125 for the mids and run in an SQ competition.

Tell us how you like the amp. :)

Heck, use a dual 1 ohm sub and it's even easier.

I could pull the Orion 2500D out and see if it still works.  Might shut down my car. wink.png

That would be fun, I bet it's going to work just fine for burps ;)

Last weekend I wired 2 Z1's on the BTL. Burp was way more brutal but the amps shut off before the TL could register a good score.

Well i'm about 35 miles east of Ft Stockton, TX. With the bed fully loaded and doing 80-90 most or the way. I drove to Van Horn TX last night and after getting there around 5 am I had to stop for some sleep. Legs were killing me, and shooting pain through my knee.

So we got a long way to go, and a short time to get there.

If I was still in the Houston area I'd buy you some lunch or dinner when you passed through. Don't think you'll be going through Kansas though.

Wife is thinking that we will never get to honeymoon. Got to do some work on it. Want to go out of the country but can't afford it. Open to staying in USA though, plenty we haven't seen...

Any ideas?

Another buy that is needed before is a camera. She wants a "compact" dslr. I'll probably have to go in the used market.

Really don't know at this point. Savings was a bit wiped out by everything going on the last few months.

Guess it depends on what you want to do.

stay at one of the plantation homes around here and visit the French Quarter in New Orleans, There is a River boat company that does a lot of tours.  One is a ~80 mile trip from New Orleans to Oak Alley Plantation (nicest one around)  http://www.graylineneworleans.com/

Savannah Georgia is a real nice place to visit.  Has a New Orleans feel with French arcitecture, cobble stone streets and lots of live oaks.

Key West is nice but kinda expensive.

I have two cabins in Gatlinburg, Tn by The Smoky National park that's real nice.  Nice scenery, lots of hiking trails. lots of roads to travel and look if you don't like to walk.  Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge has a lot of games, putt putt, ect.  Dolly Wood is there.  There's a place in the part that's a 8 mile loop where you can literaly walk up to animals.  If you are smart with you funds for food and such you can stay 5 or 6 nights, lodging, food, gas, ect. for around $1,500.  Check out http://erainthesmokies.com/above_the_rest.html  That's one of my cabins.  If you sign up to their mailing list they give out discounts like by 3 nights get two free on the off season.

Vegas is nice and cheap.  we normally stay for 5 nights.  last time we went we traveled the strip, went to the Hoover dam, and drove to the South Rim of the Grand Canyon.  In all we spent around 1,600 for everything food, airfare, hotel, rental car the whole trip, gas for car, everything.

You getting water in your basement?  By looking at the pic the sidewalk/driveway was added after the foundation of the house  That more than likely not the problem.  The foundation should be sealed from the basement all the way to the bricks.  Enven though water can get between the sidewalk and foundation the water should not seep into the foundation .  You've got to have a crack or the foundation wasn't sealed properly.  If I was having major water issues I'd rent a concrete saw and cut the sidewalk about a foot from the foundation.  Pull the concrete up and address where the water is actually going into the foundation

Well........ It didn't happen for 2 years until the silicone started to warp. It will get tested tonight...

A couple inches in a few min with 50mph winds..... I am stuck in a parking lot as it hit while I was driving to the bank.

Defeats the purpose.  Point & shoot or DSLR.

Of course the caveat being if you can live with a single prime.
