Welcome to the IHoP v.2

Recommended Posts

Saw it on the news tonight here.

Really doesn't make sense to me.

Not sure exactly how it works other than as an additive.

New fad I guess....lol

That is what I am thinking? I am just wondering if it is a synthetic,or like those powdered energy drinks?...IDK

It's a cyclic sugar that forms a molecular cage around ethanol, so the powder contains ethanol.

It's a cyclic sugar that forms a molecular cage around ethanol.

So in other words it traps the CH3CH2OH. molecule untill the cyclic sugar dissolves ?

While I understand your point, legalization of weed should in reality occur before alcohol.

Ethanol probably isn't released until the sugar is degraded in the stomach and intestines. It wouldn't surprise me if the taste of alcohol was gone.

They have a hard time fining you for a DWI on it.

Not really a breathalyzer for weed.

They don't have a quick and easy test for prescription drugs either.

I wasn't discussing the concerns in the process, just the reality.

Of course that argument makes me chuckle as well. Before they could test easily to see if you were drunk they made DWI illegal. Some crafty company will pull their head out of their ass and find a way to test.

That's the argument of legislators here in ohio.

They're worried about testing for DWI.

IMO the only issue between pot and alcohol all boils down to tax dollars.

Who gets what and how much.

Banks won't even touch the legal weed money because of the federal gov. and the tax issues.

Of course it's an argument, there is no other real logic.

I personally don't care either way, just find the lawmaking ridiculous...but it is like all things government.

Lol i don't either.

I get regular randoms so i don't smoke, too old and smart for a dwi.

I drink at home and don't drive afterwards.

The fines and repercussions of doing so i can't afford.

I had a family member die from a drunk driver.

I bought some soccer cleats today. Hopefully they will last (they actually have a leather top) and not be too heavy and not make my feet feel uber squished.

Adidas Kaiser 5 IIRC

Make ANYTHING alcoholic! Mountain Dew, Gatorade, soda, whatevs. Hell get a CO2 tank and make it carbonated AND alcoholic!

God Damn car wash has a 30 min wait. WTF.

We have a self-wash here open 24hrs. It's usually deserted after 10PM, that's when I wash the car.

I'm all for legalization. I don't feel a need to smoke, maybe a puff every 1-2 months.

The main reason I'm supportive of legalization is that I see people acting far more reckless on alcohol than on weed.

Went and talked to the bodywork guy. He worked in a shop where they restored old cars, seemed talkative and open to ideas.

After he's done with an MK1 Golf, the Miata goes under the knife, estimated early April. Sills are ordered and I'm ready to strip it down.

:woot:

Sucks that I'm going to be driving the Jeep in warm weather, no topless time. But having the Miata in solid condition is my dream.

Cannabis, LSD, mescaline, DMT, psilocybin, 2C-B, MDMA, ketamine, salvia, et al., WAY before alcohol.

Yes, because driving on LSD is fun

I think it's more of the point that most of those drugs are less addictive, and if just in reference to driving, no one really wants to trip balls and drive IMHO.
