Sean the Halibut has skin, any difference?

Do you want to eat the skin? If so scale it and put the skin side down as it needs Browning. If you won't eat it cut it off

I love skins and this skin is super smooth

Generally speaking it is one of my favorite parts of the fish, but I assumed you removed it because it is Halibut and it isn't really something you want to eat.

If you really want to eat the skin of a Halibut I would recommend removing it and then cooking the skin on its own.

Btw, scaling trick. Wire dog brush and a big plastic bag. Put fish in bag, descale in there and remove. Will keep the scales from going all over your house and takes seconds.

I've had intestines, stomach, heart, testicles, lungs, gizzards and other unique body parts in Korean restaurants. Most of those items I'd prefer to scales, but obviously am more than willing to try if someone makes them tasty. Pretty sure if that is the case they could put dirt in the dish and it'd be tasty. I don't need calcium that bad either.

Being connective tissue I imagine when broken down they may be lip smackin', but flavor is not something they bring to the game.

It is also the one thing Minneapolis sorely lacks. A good Korean restaurant. Seriously sad.

Because the cook stops making food at 5 PM. It sits on the table until 5 am so the night shift can eat during the night.
