One of the pork shoulders is coming off the Egg in 20 minutes or so, the second will probably be around 9.  Pulled pork for lunch.  :wub:

Nothing says Saturday like rebuilding the RAID array on the NAS. Drive failures suck.

Floor sealed, garage door openers up and working. 1 run of 120v to the building to keep the lights working and openers in motion until I can get the 100amp service in.

I have to say that I was impressed by it. The brisket came out extremely tender despite it being small and cooking really fast.

The "smoke" setting was pretty nice. It basically pulse in the pellets in intervals to keep smoke going. The temp stayed between 170-190 mostly. You can change up the pulsing to make less heat if need be. The PID loop doesn't seem to keep as tightly as I'd like when setting a temperature. However, if you are a lazy cook, I think you can make some respectable meat on it.

My only issue with it is it sucks for anything requiring high heat (Burger, steaks,etc) since you can't get direct heat.
