Welcome to the IHoP

Fcuk this box design. 0.4cf ported. 28 inches of port length. If the box has some reasonable outer dimensions, I can't fit the port without a bunch of bends.

LOL, that is a short port for such a small box....you liking to huff?

8 inch speaker, 3 inch port, it's a bit on the small side. And slight correction, it's 0.35cf :P

But with this ridiculous driver I can't tune anything lower than 40hz or it will move too much even with 150 watts. The Helix recommended box is tuned to 60hz.. german "high" quality gear.

For those of you not scared of germs I dare you to drink some raw chicken juice...or just pour it on your salad. You'll come back and change your tune.

Am I scared of germs? No, but will I take reasonable precautions, good practices, etc? Yep, I sure will.

Then don't cut chix on wood

even if I keep my wood boards in good condition and oiled and then wash after?

I have always used wood for everything. I only started using plastic for the wife. Can you cut any meat on wood?

I like using poly for proteins simply because I can come very close to sterilizing one in the dishwasher afterwards; once they deteriorate though you have to trash em, whereas with a wooden board you sand/plane it, reseal it, and its ready to go.

Like Sean suggested you can use a liner, works great :)

Looking into buying one of these. There is a long way to go till I get the money tho.

is that a celica??

Yes, sir! I want a T23 but it's lot more $.

Buy an impreza if you want J style awd winnar car. more parts, more support, more better.

The Impreza is the ugliest POS ever. The AMC Matador is far more attractive in any flavor.

Escort Cosworth

Sierra Cosworth

Both better awd cars in my opinion. I could list some more ..

Eh, the impreza is Japan style all the way. I kind of like that they don't hide it, they celibrate it's rice powa.

It was faster(up to the 120+mph area) and easier to drive that the 996 of which a friend had both, and much more tame and winterable..... not that he didn't drive the porche in the winter.

I think it gives a lot for a low cost. It's just uglyish and built with low cost parts everywhere but the drivetrain. Some years of their engines suffered bad though so not really that perfect engine wise.

The non turbo 996 pre 2001(or 2002) also have engine problems that actually had total failure issues.

Anyway, I agree with you. Ugly as all hell, but if you can fit in one, and you can ignore the boy racer flava, it's a lot of fun on the cheep.

binz-630.jpg

If you've determined the current Mercedes-Benz E-Class Estate doesn't have the room you need to stretch your legs, Binz has the answer. The company has released photos and specifications for its XTEND version of the Silver Arrow's long roof, and the new machine has enough cubes to comfortably ferry around an NBA team and a pilfered sarcophagus or two with room to spare. At nearly 19 feet long, the stretched wagon has a wheelbase of over 12 feet and hits the scales at 4,629 pounds.

Binz is offering the E-Class EXTEND in E250 CDI, E350 CGI and E500 configurations, with prices starting at €121,950.

A Benz designed especially for Sean!

Yeah you're not supposed to cut meat on wood because it's porous.if I had kids/ old folks in my house I'd never think about using anything but plastic for my cutting boards.

let me know if you do Sean. I almost thought about buying one. My electrolux is crapping out of me. The bearings in the beater bar are going to pot. Can't get parts as it got too hot and melted some plastic. I tried all kinds of oil and grease.... what finally worked? I cleaned it with sea foam and used plean petrolium jelly for the grease.

Nothing else worked.

Anywhosle... if it dies to go bagless would be nice.

I have been using the (Animal) DC-28 for 7 years. I have replaced the beater bar once and clean it every 5 or 6 months. Still working great. Also I have 2 dogs and a cat. No complaints and yes I have used some very nice machines in the past, filter queen, hoover, and rainbow (amway) to name a couple.

First real snow fall today, I am hoping to see at least 12" or more. I enjoy watching people driving like they have never seen or driven in snow before.

7 mile drive home from work took almost 30 minutes :WTFBubble:
