Oh Sean thought you might like this!

kinda big though, price isn't bad though.

You could pick up a number of sleeker Android tablets for that price.

Which won't work for my application. Using an RDP or soft translator will make a delay that will make button presses NOT capable of ffwd on a dvr.

What about the tablet i posted ^

A lot. If it can't keep up with the AMG, I'm not interested. The 6.0L is a dog in the trucks for what it is so I can't imagine it being better in the hood beast.

They aren't the fastest trucks, but they just really don't care what they pull and have great power.

Buddy has one. Uber shitty. Drives like 1965

Now you of all people should know better than to compare that to the AMG.

I thought I responded, my computer must have hung. Sort of the only option, but some terrible reviews on it from those that have tried. Supposedly way slower than the specs suggest. I appreciate you pointing it out though. Thank you!

Last time I drove it was when I was still tooling around in the Silverado, lol.

Not saying it didn't drive nicer than the Silvy, but not saying it did either.

And if a real one doesn't get cheaper, I'll just keep my old laptop under the couch and an old school remote for the DVR....like I've been doing. Just figure after nearly 2 years of wait that something would come along.

I believe he needs a Win7 tablet though.

Yep he does.

Customer Needs Fail.... My bad.

I wouldn't. You're MJ will have more displacement potential.

The MJ18 bigger than the JL 18?

Don't know about SD, but it can move a little further.

Touche. I don't know why, but I was thinking of the IXL 18s.

Back from the competition, managed 1st place with 151.1 dB (2nd place was 145.x with some help from my flares)

And the best part is, two of the cars I've built for SPL rocked the classes they ran and got first place by a big margin :)

All in all a good competition. It's funny to see people's faces when they notice my car...12" sub, 10" diameter port...Some even said it looks weaksauce

I see no big purpose in what you are doing, but the main thing is it seems you are having lot of fun kicking some ass. :D

Congrats on the 1st place.

Thanks !

It's all for fun, trying to always out-do the previous score. And there's the fun of meeting up with people who share the same hobby.

And customers = extra money, which is always good.

I for one can't see the purpose of building setups with thousands of watts, walls, dozens of speakers in a daily driven car :)

id probably upgrade to an ixl 18 if i found one for the right price... the 18w6 would require me to redo my entire trunk (the baffle, false floor, and amp rack) because the sub is 1" deeper.

Mk, it'll run my whole house. I don't want the delay of a software portal as it'll kill my dvr capabilities

The '11 drives considerably better than the '04 we have (considerably better in every single aspect actually), but it is good for what it is, a work truck that is fine towing 8,000lbs. Ours are the 2500HD, the '04 is a Chevy and the '11 is a GMC.

I towed 8k lbs the other day in a 3/4 ton suburban with the 5.3L, that poor engine had to work.
