Welcome to the IHoP

Recommended Posts

Had a little accident this morning. Legs gave out and when I landed, shook a glass polish heirloom off the wall and it shattered.

Feeling awesome.

Damn Matt.........I'm really sorry to hear about everything goin on brother. I just gotta wonder if a change of scenery might help? Away from the cold and humidity, and down to heat and dry air? I mean alot of people with joint issues do MUCH better down in the South West than they do up North.

If we can do anything for ya, just tell us bro.

J

The wife and I just had a climate talk. If this is permanent we will move.

It has to be something else. Not completely impossible to get arthritis at your age, but the likely hood of mis-diagnosis and sometihng else is much higher.

If you do decide you want to try AZ before I leave you have a place to stay brother.

J

I have some inlaws down there too. It would be a financially smart move to go down there considering all the help we could theoretically get.

Start smoking?

Nah.

Funny you mention this. Just did some reading on how nicotine can increase acetylecholine(sp). Thus increasing overall free HGH. I am sure it has something to do with how it works with opiate receptors. Probably also why smoking cigs aid with with weight loss so much.

Stimulant and an increase in GH would do it for sure. Also help grow tumors faster but who gives a fucm when you look gooooood.

To anybody i may have offended in the past- I have been on TRT for many years now and latelly i have moved and stopped my TRT (6 months). This has had a great effect on my life and on my mood in general. I have had a really shitty attitude and haven't really cared about anything. i have been in a pretty deep depression and i know that it has all been comming out. I am happy to tell you that i am back on my TRT and everything is MUCH better. I am sorry if i have offended any of you though and i KNOW that i have made a complete ass of myself.

Why the fuck would you stop TRT. You make the money to afford it?

My T score was in the 150 range when I got on, but androgel does nothing for me and the injections are a BITCH.

Up an hour befoee I get up to hit the ibuprofen, then drive the wife to work to go to the gym. About to hop in the hot tub. This is a life I could enjoy if it wasn't necessary to just move properly.

Dude, go get it checked out. Its not normal and don't accept 'Oh, you have RA, its normal' as an answer. We heard 'Oh, you have RA, just deal with it' from more than one doctor/rheumatologist which is total bullshit. Yep, she had RA, but as a side effect of Crohns. Now that its figured and and on the right medicine, its totally different and the days where it hurts to move and unable to dress oneself haven't happened again. Now have some side effects of the drugs to deal with, but the lesser of the evils. :)

I would really love to try your coffee Sean. I even went to dun brothers and had some coffee and thought it was burned to shit. I had a really gooe cup at the Dogwood coffee next to the Kitche Window. It was mduch better than expected.

I feel like an ass I didn't offer when you were here. From de de de to a double cap is about 3 minutes. Most spent talking. Doubles re-appear every 70sec afterwards. Singles twice as fast, tongue.png

Foofy derivations are not served. Chocolate is not foof.

Chocolate is indeed foof, sir... But it is perfectly acceptable foof.

Ok, I'll give you milk chocolate as foof, but IMO milk chocolate isn't edible. Dark or bust

I see my genere doc this week and am making an apt with a rheumatologist just in case. They schedule 6 months out here...

As for it being weird to have arthritis this young, it is and isn't. I have had signs of general arthritis since middle school in my shoulder. Then knees at about 18. It is one of the reasons I lift weights. Mygrandmothers hands were knotted at mid 30's. Basically one wide finger and a thumb and unusable for gripping.

My whole family has autoimmune issues from diabetes and skin issues. It is just a time line for quality of life for me. I don't mean that to sound as if I am giving up, just being realistic and planning. Meds are much better now too. I just had a few really really dark mornings the past few days.

:-)

I will take truckloads of meds and work out daily if it makes my life livable.

;-)

Speaking of quality of life, an older guy, 65ish, at the gym this morning put up 160+ per arm on a cybex bench press machine. Thanks science!

Don't take no/deal with it for an answer at all. If they say RA, get Remicaid, it'll take a bit for insurance to cover it at 3,700$ an infusion but I've seen it work miracles on the W.

yeah, the Androgel is a joke. We don't have any specialist around here so i just figured that they wouldn't do a damn thing about it. i ended up going to a womans hormone clinic and they got me hooked up. i had no idea they had anything like that around here. you know when a Doc looks at you and sees your only 30yrs old most of them don't want to do anything for you unless they are a real Endocrinologist and actually know what the test mean. i'm in the "low/normal" area at 320's and thats what normal doctors don't understand whats right for one guy isn't right for the next. i feel great when i'm sitting around 800-900ng/dl

Chill never see an endo. See a male general doc or a male urologist. I have never had an issue with female doctors until my hormone ballance was a problem. And an endo won't do shit for you.

On androgel my numbers do go up, but I don't feel different at all.

Today must be blue hair guys on HGH and Testoe day though. After the buff senior a few retired guys with 16-17" ripped arms were doing dips.

Good for them, their poor old ladies though. They must be pawing at them like no bodies business.

Yeesh. That is insanity. With my sore joints I could only eo about 1/2 the weight for 1/2 the reps today.
