I honestly want to get out of engineering.

Except I can't come up with anything else to do at school.

I despise math with a fiery passion that burns like the depths of hell.

Some reason I still do it though, and can if I care to...

My family is basically all engineers, its basically what I've always assumed I'd go to school for. It seems like a logical choice, I can do math, good at designing/layouts/most things mechanical/custom fabrication can get chit done, come up with original ideas, don't want to do anything that doesn't involve building or designing anything. I'm good at shooting, fixing things, building things, and custom fabrication... International style pistol, theres no way to make a living doing that, even winning a gold medal only gets 25 grand which is nothing close to what one puts in. I don't like fixing other peoples fudge ups to much, so that leaves building, designing, and custom fabrication.

then y do u want to be an engineer

The everlasting fame and glory?

:D

Speaking about engineering, there was a pretty good film on IFC today with Tom Dowd & his influence on how multitrack recording came around...didn't realize how many seminal recordings he was a part of.

IFC's good for more than just gratuitous boobies, I guess :)

And Ryan, I know what you're going through. They intentionally make this very difficult and try to break your spirit down. If you want that EE degree, you've just got to suck it up and trudge through this bullshit for the next couple years.

Ryan, tough it out bro. Degree+good skills+experience=GOOD $$$$

Or hey you can always finish school and join the service. Be an officer. Make me salute you............Granted I'd then be uber jealous of me not doing school first but thats besides the point.

Do what ya gotta do to make the $$$, but be happy first and formost bro.

J
