Jacob using the info from the first page:

5.25" depth

8.25" overall basket OD (no gasket)

7.375" cut-out diameter (without gasket)

7.25" cut-out diameter (with gasket)

I want to flush mount them 8's the inside hole is ?

7.25?

And the outside counter sink is? ???

I would like to completely finish these boxes and I need to know for sure before I cut.

Thx

Okay so i have four on order and i put down for D1 coils , i already have my SAZ-2000D and i'm wondering if I should run it on 2 ohm or 1 ohm for my daily setup.

What Kind of power will the 2000d actually produce at 2 ohms? since its obviously underrated. Could the four sa-8's handle the power from the 2000d at 1 ohm ?

And also I have a 200 Amp alt and and a yellow top

Wont 4 speakers with Dual 1 coils make .5 ohms, 2 ohms, or 8 ohms??

Wouldnt you need Dual 2 coils or Dual 4 to get 1 ohm load?

You may hear some noise from the air cooling inverse mounted -- depends on how close they are to your listening position.

You're correct about the cut-out (inside) hole, 7.25". The outside hole will be over 8.25" if you're going to use the gasket, go 8.5" or even 8.75" for that I'd imagine.

On the countersink, how thick is your baffle going to be? I think most cast frame gaskets are about .5" tall, I"ll go measure my Q's real quick and let you know for sure.

Thanks for catching that steve mead , i did notice that i would need dual 2s but at first i planned on running 2 ohm load but now that im thinking again i realized there are only d2 and d4 coils available so idk what i was on when i said d1s in the first place haha sorry guys :trippy: im sure i put down for d2s

Supposed to hit Charlotte on the 5th, they go from there to me... so if all goes smooth I should be able to at least start shipping them before I got to SBN.
