2 Havoc 18s - Ford Explorer Sport

Recommended Posts

I recently got 2 of the new Havocs with the solid pole and improved cooling, and I must say these subs are AWESOME. I've owned the older model havocs before (2008) and these are much better! Each is powered by a RF T1500-1bdcp (1800+ rms) and they seem like they need more...LOL. Box is 11.85 after displacements tuned to 29hz. No vids yet be will have some soon

They are the same batteries, he probably couldnt find another D-series at the time to have all matching batteries.

That box is sexy. If you ever change box's out i would throw some stain and varnish on the box and use it for home stereo setup!

Correct...Mechman was out of the D1200s and had those S1200s on sale and explained that they were the same batteries.

Thanks for the comments guys... :woot:

Actually BC plywood, 7 ply........light and strong! I had a box just like this that was made out of MDF for my DC XL 18s, heavy as hell though. This one is much lighter and stronger..... I took a chance cause it's cheaper than mdf around here, $25 for it, $32 for MDF, $45-60 for birch...works well though :fing34:
