They're also required for all 15A and 20A, 120V receptacles in: bathroom areas, garages & grade-level portions of unfinished or finished accessory buildings used for storage or work areas (excluding receptacles that are not readily accessible); unfinished portions of a basement not intended as a habitable room but used for storage or as a work area (excluding receptacles that are not readily accessible), and receptacles that serve kitchen countertop surfaces.

I am into my tub around a grand after a new power panel, new cover and plumbing. Wish I had pics from doing the plumbing. Was a fun job.

Not sure of the cost to run mine. I made sure to get one that only needed a 30amp breaker so shouldn't be to bad.

Do you have a GFI breaker?
Nope. I added a sub panel next to the main as the box was full. There's no breaker at the hot tub.
The GFI is a safety to make sure you don't get electrocuted if the heater grounds out.

GFCI is required for any outdoor branch circuit.

Bear in mind this is per National Electric Code. Just like the International Building Code, it is a bare minimum requirement; not the ideal requirement.

Minimum code also states 2x4 framing on 24" centers, exterior rated gypsum board for sheathing, and 14 gauge wiring. Fuck that noise.

A friend's little boy just had his kidneys stop working. For no reason they can find.

That's so fucked up.

Shouldn't happen to 2-3.year old.

:(

Any chance of a donor?

Sorry to hear this......makes me wish I could give my kid a huge hug right now.

A little surface rust and needs some cleaning and to be gone through, but the tolex and cabinet look like it has never been transported anywhere. At 1/3rd the price of a Marshall and every bit as groovy sound I am pumped.

:drool

Love me some tube amps for guitars.

I had a 100W full tube amp, used for gigs, for some reason I thought it could work well at home... (with 4 15" cabinets)

I miss that amp.

How are you going to fit it in your carry on?

I guess I like living on the edge. The tub is hard wired to the breaker panel and I skipped the GFCI breaker cause I'm cheap like that.

I don't understand guitar amps. How are they different from "power amps" or any other amp?

In general tubes color the sounds right?

I have an old school H & H Scott tube amp that my dad bought back in the 70's

it is very warm sounding , fantastic sound quality for an integrated amp/preamp

I even have the original H & H Scott 197B loud speakers that came with it

,had the woofers rebuilt a couple years ago

Every best listening experience I have had, the speakers were fed by tube amps.

When you are put in a smaller room with some 20.1 Maggie's and a pile of McIntosh amps.... Or some Wilson watt puppies..... Yeah man. It was epic.

I wish I could afford it.

I "settled" for a pair of Martin Logan self powered speakers. driven by a marantz receiver.

The HT is a set up from energy and the z9 from Yamaha.

Just AR 10.
