Pioneer, show us the response curve of the sub and box combo that kevin gave you for your vvx 10". iirc you gave me it and I did model it....but lets see what you have first then i'll post what I have cuz initially I thought I made a mistake somewhere.

Wrong person, I never owned a VVX-10 and Kevin never designed any box for me.

yes, you told me you using the same specs as Kevin, I asked you for it inch for inch as well as port area (diameter) and length.

Remember we was discussing how the vent hole on the back plate was small on your sub compared to mine and you inboxed me the info that it has a unique cooling design that Jacob had a part to play in?

Have you forgotten the night you went all Sherlock Holmes on me and went so far as to dig for my subwoofer's invoice to see what I got?

Sometimes I seriously don't question that you have a mental disability, you are quite a special one.

How many people in here personally tried/tested any Skar products for themselves? Isn't that what fact finding is about, personal experiences and being able to relate these experience and findings? It's all good if you tried it and hated it, we are all free-thinking human beings and entitled to our personal opinions.

How many retailers out there know much about the products they sell? I'm speaking in general here, from vacuum cleaners to whiteboard markers. Does anyone really know anything about their products in fine detail? So does that mean we should automatically trash their products and name because...well just because. Does anyone walk into Walmart and ask them for the chemical composition of a shirt?

Personal experience isn't needed to know that you don't want to do business with someone. Why the hell would you buy a product after you've seen years of people buying from the same company get screwed over or receive horrible CS? That's why we're taught history in school; so we don't make the same mistakes they made in the past. You learn what was done right in the past to model what to do today without negative outcomes.

As for how many companies don't know what they're doing-the number of them don't matter. What matters are the companies that actually do know what they're doing, and who do actual modeling and real world testing before they release a product to the public. I don't know about you, but I would 1000% rather spend my money with the latter company. They're the ones who deserve it and are going to be there years down the road if I have any problems with their products. I've run Fi and SSA subs because of this exact reason. I talk with Aaron on a daily basis through these forums or Facebook, and I know mark or anyone from Fi are here if I need them as well. WHERE IS KEVIN?!

What kind of solid evidence do you want? His track records on ebay and countless audio and custom car forums? The people who let him know if he didn't fix himself he would be sued to come in here and let all their experience be known? Perhaps his DNA and bank records would suffice?

Lets phrase it like this, if I told you the guy two hours away sold cars that failed within 200 kilometers, and refused to fix them or take returns would you go buy a car from him or take my word on it? Its the same principle when it comes to equipment needed for a hobby.

reverse trolling his ridiculous demand for more evidence against skar.. essentially, the evidence required to prove he's from Trinidad is exactly the level of evidence needed to demonstrate the unethical practices of kevin/skar audio (which has already been established).

just dug up a thread where me and him were talking about his skar sub. Unfortunately the confused lad requested all his posts be erased as a birthday gift to him a small while back (will not go into the reason why but you guys might have an idea from the way he conducts himself in here).

Anyways, I did in fact quote him so some posts are in fact there existing and confirming that we were talking about his skar subwoofer. Thing is....the 8's and 15's didnt go into production yet...so the question arises now:

Did he or did he not have a subwoofer that he just confirmed he did in fact build a box for?

Don't blame Jacob that they are a bad design either. If someone leads a designer down the wrong path and gives him money to do so, I'd personally fault the "leader"

And find the info on the Sundown's. They aren't the same otherwise the specs would be the same. If they were the same I seriously doubt even Kevin could screw up typing them up. Ok, perhaps, but at least they would have been measured right. Taking an "almost" T/S parameter set and designing is about as useful as the trial and error method you are so fond of. An even rudimentary understanding of basic algebra would go a really long ways in getting you some useful information. Stuff I learned in 3-4th grade. It isn't rocket science. I suggest trying once. It might do you well.
